Terms of Use
  1. These terms and conditions cover the Outward Insights Competitive Intelligence Coaching Center ("Coaching Center"), a subscription-based service that subscriber organizations can utilize for their competitive intelligence practitioners ("Subscribers").
  2. A Silver Level subscription to the Coaching Center includes 12-month access to documents, materials, and resources that are available on Coaching Center web site.
  3. A Gold Level subscription to the Coaching Center includes 12-month access to documents, materials, and resources that are available on Coaching Center web site, and 12-month access to on-call coaching services provided by Outward Insights. Coaching will be delivered remotely via telephone, fax, e-mail and other electronic means.
  4. Subscribers acknowledge that on-call coaching services will be provided within normal business hours only, unless Subscribers and the Outward Insights coach mutually agree to extend these hours. Outward Insights reserves the right to place reasonable limits upon the availability of on-call coaching in the event that a Subscriber places an undue burden upon the Outward Insights coach(es).
  5. Any service that a client requests that is outside of the description in paragraphs 2 and 3 is considered a Platinum Level Premium Service and will entail additional fees. Any additional fees for premium services must be negotiated, in writing, in advance of our performing the service and mutually agreed upon between Subscribers and Outward Insights. Subscribers acknowledge that Outward Insights will make the determination of which services are Premium Services. Coaching Center subscribers will be eligible for discounts to premium services not available to non-subscribers.
  6. Passwords are required to access documents and materials on the CIECC web site. Included in each subscription is a unique userID and corresponding password. Passwords are for the exclusive use of the person to which they are issued and Subscribers acknowledge that passwords shall not be shared with non-Subscribers, either within or outside of the subscribing organization. Outward Insights reserves the right to change Subscriber passwords. Subscribers acknowledge that the violation of the password requirement can result in the termination of the subscription agreement by Outward Insights.
  7. Subscribers agree that the services provided are strictly confidential and may not be disclosed to any party outside of the subscriber organization with out the express written consent of Outward Insights, including but not limited to, the materials provided to Subscribers from Outward Insights, the techniques and methodologies utilized by Outward Insights and its staff in rendering services and the substance of the communications between Outward Insights and Subscribers. Subscribers agree that they will not remove any proprietary markings from materials provided to Subscribers by Outward Insights, including any confidentiality notices and/or copyright notices. Outward Insights is the sole and exclusive owner of all concepts, programs, ideas, materials, copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights associated with the services.
  8. Subscribers may terminate the subscription provided that Outward Insights has received in writing Subscriber's intention to do so at least 30 days prior to the requested termination date. If termination is requested prior to six months from the date of the subscription commencement, Outward Insights will retain 50% of the subscription fee. If termination is requested subsequent to six months from the date of subscription commencement, Outward Insights will retain a percentage of total fees equal to the percentage of the year in which the subscription was in effect.
  9. Subscribers acknowledge that Outward Insights makes no warranties and does not guarantee the professional or personal performance of Subscribers. Subscribers, not Outward Insights, are responsible for the achievement of their own personal and professional goals.
